The zoology Department was established in the year 1964 in this prestigious and historical institution. Started as composite department offering intermediate (Bi. P.C) adn B.Sc with B.Z.C combination. In the year 1968, college was bifurcated , various restructured courses are introduced along with the B.Sc(B.Z.C) like Biotechnology (Bt.Z.C). The present faculty consisting of Dr T. Sri Ranjani, Head of the Department, Dr. Ch. Ramadevi, Dr N. Anitha, Sri K. Nagaraju, Dr Ch. Lalitha Kumari and Smt H. Swathi.All are striving hard for the progress and the development of the department
